Rebakery was among the first social music websites explicitly devoted to the production of remixes and derivative works. Begun as an experiment among a few like-minded peers, the project spread by word of mouth, eventually hosting nearly one hundred original remixes (and remixes of remixes) from dozens of producers worldwide. Featured artists who shared audio stems included Lucky Dragons, oOoOO, Javelin, and Ital.
