I'm an independent UX Engineer. I have been creating interactive media for 10+ years for clients such as Levi's®, Facebook, MoMA, General Electric, and Google, earning a South by Southwest Interactive award. I work collaboratively with creative teams and stakeholders, offering creative strategy and direction, interaction design, and technical R&D and implementation. As a technologist, I move seamlessly from native real-time media frameworks to the full web stack to embedded devices, and have variously specialized in user interface, data visualization, and generative art and music. I hold an MFA from CalArts, recently participated in the Gray Area incubator, and created the generative music sequencer Patter for Ableton Live. I am currently working independently with brands and award-winning creative agencies to produce original interactive media. I live and work in Oakland, CA.
